Wow....Three and a half months flew by!

So here we are on the eve of our big adventure! It's been a hectic week with Mickey and Brian finishing up their semesters with finals and papers. I just started my summer semester last week and I've been working feverishly on projects to pre-submit as I won't be around to submit them during the deadline. It's been a struggle to stop and remember to breath. :)

But, we're all loaded up and ready for takeoff! We did the grocery thing Monday and Tuesday nights and packed between school and work during the other week nights. I think we've probably got at least 15 pieces of luggage between the 10 of us and we just hope that the RV won't tip over from all the clothes, shoes, bed linens, kitchen utensils and the 1 suitcase filled with nothing but pull-ups! :)

The guys are leaving tomorrow at 9 am to go and retrieve the RV and the ladies and little ones will stay behind and wait for their return so that we can load up and hit the road! Of course you know that our ENTIRE family will be there to check out (translation: approve!) the RV, give last minute instructions, bid tearful farewells and...wait for it...say prayers! Of course! It ain't our family without some good old fashioned, hand holdin', prayer time! And, you know what, I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. I grew up in a praying family and I don't plan on departing from that anytime soon.

We have, however, forewarned the fam that there isn't going to be too much time for chatting as we really want to get a good start on down the road. The kiddos will need lunch and some time to decompress with all the excitement that will surely ensue. So, stay tuned. Much, MUCH more to come! We're not quite sure yet what we've gotten ourselves into. :)
